The Fashion Design department at Khawarizmi college offers a 2-year Associate degree in Fashion Design, Accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, UAE. A “Fashion the environment friendly way!” workshop was held in Capital recently. Students and staff of Al Khawarizmi International College (KIC) conducted a unique “environmentally friendly” workshop on fashion designing in Mushrif Mall, Abu Dhabi. The students worked on draping on mannequins creating designs. Working with waste papers and other recyclable materials were the main highlights of the event. Some students also used fabric to create their designs while sketching was also part of the activities.
