Bestseller Clothing Company of Denmark is the today the largest world-wide. The company, which is based in the small city called Brande, in Jutland, has today more shops than any other fashion chain. Bestseller  is behind the otherwise fairly unknown clothes brands called Vero Moda, ONLY and Jack & Jones. Within the end of this year, 2013, they expect to reach 10,000 shops. All located in well-known shopping street and shopping centers

The first 3,000 boutiques, Bestseller opened in Europe, Middle East, Canada and India. And alone in China they have more than 6,100 clothing stores. Compare that with the Spanish Inditex chain who promotes the Zara Brand. they have 5,900 stores worldwide and the American-owned chain called GAP has around 3,400 stores globally. The much more famous H&M brand (Hennes & Mauritz) of Sweden has “only” around 2,800 clothing boutiques opened up around the world

Although BESTSELLER has so many shops they do not actually have the biggest yearly turnover. The reason is, that their BESTSELLER clothing shops are smaller. Most are sized around 200-300 square metres. Whereas shops like H&M may be in the range of 500 or even 1,000 square metres
