The winners, Audrey Lim, 20, from Singapore, Ryota Shiga, 25, from Japan, Kitty Miao Mei Rong, 32, from China and Daniel Ngoo, 22, from Malaysia, were announced during the Audi Red Carpet Night held at the Tent@Orchard, Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza in Singapore. They were selected for their interpretation of the competition theme, "Designing The Future" through their ensemble of six garments
Daniel Ngoo, 22, is an alumnus of Lim Kok Wing University of Creative Technology. The freelancer Ngoo chose sobriety as his design inspiration. Entitled Age of Sobriety, his collection offered a mixture of layered, draping and rough-edged looks where organic patterns meet geometric cuts. He showcased something unconventional with an airy, rough feminine appeal where innerwear was translated as outerwear
Audrey Lim, 20, is currently a student at Temasek Polytechnic. She presented her collection, The Ad.Venture that translated the excitement and risk involved in sports to fashion by means of proportions, cut and fit
Kitty Miao Mei Rong, 32, is a student at Raffles Design Institute (Shanghai). She presented a collection called Future Explorer where she imagined a time where people seek survival as they face environmental issues.
Ryota Shiga, 25, is currently a student at Sugino Fashion College, He presented a line-up of womenswear that played with ambiguity
