Sri Lanka gets its own version of E-Bay

Sri Lanka has now got its very own version of E-Bay. SriLance, a new business platform for service providers and product buyers and sellers was launched recently heralding an E-Commerce revolution for the country. The portal is one of the first E-Commerce portal to be launched in Sri Lanka.

Mrs. Renzina, the general secretary for Cyberia, the holding company of SriLance said that what makes the portal unique is the combined freelancing and E-Commerce features under one umbrella. Though the primary target market of the portal is Sri Lanka, it is a global online marketplace where people from across the globe can login to buy and sell products.

The portal is built on a high-end technology platform and completely secure. Security being one of the major issues for any online b2b marketplace, enough measures have been put-in place to protect customer information.
